USS Midway Overnight Adventure
The next Overnight tour on the U.S.S. Midway in San Diego is scheduled for April 22 and 23, 2023.
Army National Guard Tour
On August 1st, Cadets from the CAP AZ Southern Group visited the Western Army Aviation Training Site in Marana.
Cadets toured the Maintenance Hangers, spent time in the Flight Simulators and took a 1/2 hour flight in a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter. Special thanks goes to both the ANG and the Davis Montham CAP squadron in Tucson.
Visit to 161st ANG Squadron
Our Squadron toured the AZ Air National Guard 161st Squadron base on August 15th.
Cadets were able to get an up close look at the KC35 Refueling Aircraft, and even got some time in the simulator.
2023
Upcoming Red Flag Competition May 2023
The Red Flag competition will be held in May 2023. This time we will be using Virtual Reality Goggles, to give a total immersion experience.
Summer Encampment 2023
Summer encampment at Ft. Huachuca is expected to be held June 10-17, 2023..
Orientation Flights
The next round of Cadet Orientation Flights will be held at the Casa Grande Airport on Dec. 10 and Dec. 16, 2022
